Seriously, there has got to be something very wrong with our education system now. I mean it's disturbing how many people can't distinguish the difference between simple stuff like there, their and they're. Or how about your and you're? Now I understand the English language is a bit complicated. Hell I make my mistakes on occasion too with the spelling of some words and I'm not always the best with comma placement, but what concerns me is the real simple stuff being messed up. Or all the constant text speak. Plus all anyone has to do now is put what they want to say in word and they can check their spelling and grammar. If they don't have word there are sites online to use, all it takes is a little Google search.

So please, let's get some money into the education system and let's also help more people get into college. This should be a high priority considering our future relies on this generation. It's starting to look like that movie "Idiocracy" is what our future is going to look like. I fear for my baby girl growing up in this world. I swear every time I see this stuff I die a little inside.

I'm not always a negative Nancy it just so happened that when I started this blog rebecca black had released her new single so that caught my attention. Anyway, Lisa is an amazing singer that actually deserves the recognition. She's done some amazing covers of some great songs as well as originals. Okay, so of course with the huge numbers bashing her, there are people defending her. I'm a little mad at myself for not grabbing some of the stuff I saw earlier for this because it was a lot of the "omg dnt listen to da haterzzzz u amazin and butiful and there just dum." stuff like that. I listen because I listen to and critique all types of music. Music is a passion for me and has been since I was a child. And we don't search her, it's posted all over the place because she's infamous for "Friday" I'm not unknown, I'm known by many, I'm just not famous and personally I could care less about being famous. If your in music because you want to be famous then you're in it for the wrong reason. Music is about passion and doing what you love. I couldn't care less if I ever became famous off it. Plus I like my privacy.

So Rebecca Black released her new single titled "My moment". If you listen to the lyrics it's basically her way of saying fu to the "haters". Now the song is better than "Friday" is, but it's still a piece of crap. There's less auto tuning but it's still there, the lyrics are repetitive, and she just flat out can't sing. Again like "Friday" the comments were blowing up on this video both good and bad, mostly bad though. Those defending her couldn't even use proper grammar, so I'll assume they're probably about 9 years old. Let me break down the lyrics here,

Oh thank god it's over. What's funny is this song was to prove the "haters" wrong, show that she's gonna go far. Then this video started getting so many negative comments she went and set it to where she has to approve comments before they go up now. So of course all that can be seen coming through now are the good comments. But I guess whatever helps you feel better Rebecca. You can filter out the comments it's not going to change people's opinion of you.

I really can't understand why anyone would feel proud of being "popular" for the wrong reasons. Yea okay millions of people know of you but the majority of them think you're an idiot. I personally don't see what there is to be proud of in that.

And okay, there were a bunch of comments about "don't hate on her for having a dream" or along those lines. Listen there's nothing wrong with having a dream but if you tried once and failed don't come back with another piece of crap that's just going to get you known even more for crap music. She should have taken some time off, taken some vocal lessons, come up with some good lyrics, let crap die down from "Friday" then come back. Instead she had this "I'm gonna prove them wrong" attitude and made a fool of herself yet again.

Rebecca in some off chance that you read this, I'm sure you're a nice girl but you're naive. Give yourself time to grow as a singer rather than being infamous. And if you can't handle the criticism of people, don't post on the internet.
